Glennis directed disability and support services for the College of Southern Maryland and Howard University and represented the Maryland postsecondary institutions on the Governor’s Interagency Transition Council (IATC) for youth with disabilities. Glennis is from Guyana, and the parent of a daughter.Â
Janet is Associate Professor of Education Emerita at McDaniel College where she taught for 19 years. Janet has been working with college students since the early days of DSS and has published extensively on the topic of learning disabilities. Janet began her professional career as an anthropologist and likes to hike and weave fiber.
